Here are some tips for how to add the QR code to your mailer and some best practices!
Add QR Code:
- Adding a QR code is easy! Select + QR code and drag it to where you want it on the mailer.
- Be sure to include a call to action (CTA) that lets the recipient know why they are scanning the QR code. Examples include, “Scan For Free Download”, “Scan To View Property”, “Scan To Scheduling Showing”, etc.
Add a unique URL for your new QR Code:
- URL, include the correct beginning such as http:// or https://.
- Check the “Track QR scan” option
Lead Email Alert
Each time someone scans your unique QR code, you will receive an email from us notifying you. Your email will contain their information and a link to follow up with them quickly.
SMS/Text Lead Alert
Each time someone scans your unique QR code, you will receive an SMS/Text lead alert from us notifying you. Your SMS/Text will contain their information so you can follow up with them quickly.
Corefact Dashboard: Find Your Leads
Be sure to check your Corefact dashboard frequently to see the status of your leads. You can easily manage each lead and quickly follow up with a Pop Up Card, too!
You can zoom in on each lead for more detailed information.
Basic Requirements:
The QR Codes need to be attached to a direct mail piece that is addressed to a unique mailing address. This connects the QR code on the mailer to a specific recipient. When the recipient scans the QR code, their information will show up in your dashboard so you can follow up.
EDDM or Every Door Direct Mail mailers are delivered to properties along a carrier's route and do not provide unique mailing addresses. Therefore, without the unique mailing addresses, the Unique URL QR Code will not be trackable on EDDM mailers.
Will the Unique URL QR Code work on flyers or signs? No, QR codes on signs or flyers handed out are not trackable. Why? Because without the unique mailing address, we do not know who is scanning the QR codes on your signs or flyers.
